Goar Hockey is happy to announce that our Gilbert Summer Camp is ON!  

Camp begins on Monday June 3rd and runs Monday thru Friday until August 2nd.

Camp this year will be run by our highly skilled coaches:

Kurt Goar: Ace Coordinator – Arizona Hockey Union, USA Hockey level 5 Master Coach, Rocky Mountain District Developmental Camp Coach  Kurt commits to provide premier coaching to the players of Phoenix and to provide quality mentoring to players from around the state by using modern, up to date coaching techniques, combined with tried and true methods of the past to improve hockey as a whole in Arizona. 

Holly Harrington:   Holly has over 23 years skating experience, ten years of which was competitive, and 13 years professional.  From 1998 to 2007 she had been personal coach to beginner and competitive skaters as well as the Head Power Skating Instructor at DYHA (Desert Youth Hockey Association).  From 2000 to 2007 Holly held the Director of Player Development at Oceanside Ice Arena.  Holly partnered with the Arizona Hockey Clubs in 2007 as she led Power Skating Sessions at both Polar Ice Gilbert and Polar Ice Chandler.  Holly has the knowledge and experience to not only make you a better skater, but to make you a better all-around player. This is exemplified through the figure skaters and hockey players who have advanced to the highest level nationally.

Bob Platt:  Bob has been an integral part of Goar Hockey for 4 years.  He has been the head coach of an Arizona Hockey Union team for 3 years. He is committed to helping make every hockey player the best theycan be.  He believes that hard work, solid effort, and a good attitude  will help hockey players succeed both on and off the ice.  Bob has two sons who play hockey and he enjoys watching them develop their skills and have fun.
